On December 13, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) introduced S. 2484, an Act to rename the National Institute on Child Health and Human Development as the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development.

Development as the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development

On December 13, the Senate passed under unanimous consent S. 2484, an Act to rename the National Institute on Child Health and Human Development as the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development. The bill passed the House under suspension of the rules on December 17.

PRESIDENTIAL ACTION

On December 21, the President signed into law as Public Law 110-154, S. 2484, an Act to rename the National Institute on Child Health and Human Development as the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute on Child Health and Human Development.
