S. 2742—The National Diabetes Coordinator Act

On March 11, 2008, Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) introduced S. 2742, the National Diabetes Coordinator Act. S. 2742 would establish a National Diabetes Coordinator within the Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to coordinate research and prevention activities throughout the Federal Government. H.R. 2742 was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP).
