H. R. 7121 —Rachel’s Act of 2008

On September 26, 2008, Representative Chris Cannon (R-UT) introduced H.R. 7121, Rachel’s Act of 2008. The bill would require the Secretary of HHS, through the Director of NIH, to award $10 million to the first individual or group who develops a cure for clear cell sarcoma of the tendons and aponeuroses. The bill would authorize $10 million for FYs 2009 through 2018. H.R. 7121 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
