H. R. 6228 —The Ban Poisonous Additives Act

On June 10, 2008, Representative Ed Markey (D-MA) introduced H.R. 6228, the Ban Poisonous Additives Act, which would ban the use of bisphenol A (BPA) in food and beverage containers. H.R. 6228 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
