H. R. 5500 —Extend Health Benefit Coverage for Young Adult Dependents of Federal Employees

On March 6, 2008, Representative Danny Davis (D-IL) introduced H.R. 5550, To Amend Title 5, United States Code, to Increase the Maximum Age to Qualify for Coverage as a `Child’ Under the Health Benefits Program for Federal Employees, as an amendment in the nature of a substitute. H.R. 5550 was referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

COMMITTEE/SUBCOMMITTE ACTION

April 28, 2008 - The House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Federal Workforce, Postal Service and the District of Columbia approved H.R. 5550 by voice vote.
