Federal Cocaine Sentencing Hearing

The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs (Senator Joseph Biden [D-DE], Chairman) held a hearing on Federal cocaine sentencing. Dr. Nora Volkow, Director, NIDA, provided testimony on the effect that various types of cocaine have on the brain and on other health risks, including addiction.
