Prescription Drug Abuse

The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs (Senator Joseph Biden [D-DE], Chairman) together with the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control held a hearing on the rising abuse of prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Dr. Nora Volkow, Director, NIDA, testified about the science behind prescription/over the counter drug abuse.
