Science Education Hearing

The House Science Subcommittee on Research and Science Education (Representative Brian Baird [D-WA], Chairman) held a hearing to examine how the Federal government is contributing to science, technology, engineering and mathematics education. Dr. Bruce Fuchs, Director, Office of Science Education, Office of Science Policy, testified. Officials from the National Science Foundation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the Department of Energy also testified.
