Global Health Hearing

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, and Education (Senator Tom Harkin [D-IA], Chairman) held a hearing with Michael Leavitt, Secretary, HHS, entitled “Fiscal Year 2008 Funding for Global Health.” There was a second panel, which included Dr. Roger Glass, Director, FIC, and Stephen Blount, Director, Office of Global Affairs, CDC.
