Artificial Pancreas Hearing

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs (Senator Susan Collins [R-ME], Chairman) held a hearing entitled, "Development of an Artificial Pancreas: Will New Technologies Care for People with Diabetes and Reduce the Burden on the Health Care System?" Dr. Griffin Rodgers, Acting Director, NIDDK, testified on research funded by NIH in this area.
