Session II - P.L. 107-84  MD-Care Act

On December 18, 2001, the President signed into law H.R. 717, the Muscular Dystrophy Community Assistance, Research and Education Amendments of 2001, as P.L. 107-84. H.R. 717 contains a provision to mandate a contract with the Institute of Medicine to study and report on the impact of, need for, and other issues associated with the Centers of Excellence at NIH.
