Session II - P.L. 107-360 Public Health Service Act Amendment on Diabetes

On December 17, 2002, the President signed into law H.R. 5738, the Public Health Service Act Amendment on Diabetes, as P.L. 107-360. This legislation renews funding for the special diabetes programs for Type 1 diabetes research, and also the parallel services program for diabetes in Native Americans at $150 million for fiscal years 2004 through 2008.
