Session II - P.L. 107-280 Rare Diseases Act

On November 6, 2002, the President signed into law H.R. 4013, the Rare Diseases Act, as P.L. 107-280. This legislation provides statutory authorization for the existing NIH Office of Rare Diseases and establishes Regional Centers of Excellence on Rare Diseases.
