Session I - P.L. 107-67  Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act

On November 12, 2001, the President signed H.R. 2590, the FY 2002 Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act. The legislation includes several general provisions that pertain to all Federal agencies, including NIH. Provisions include a 4.6 percent pay raise for Federal military and civilian employees, reauthorization of the Breast Cancer Research Postal Stamp, and authorization for a Stop Domestic Violence Stamp. In addition, the bill gives permanent authority for agencies to fund child care centers with appropriated funds. For further information, go to the Thomas Web Site.
