P.L. 110-252 - The Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2008

On June 30, 2008, the President signed into law H.R. 2642, the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2008, which included military funding in the amount of $165.4 billion to support ongoing operations related to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; $21.1 billion for domestic programs, including $150 million for NIH; funding for midwest flooding and military construction; and other provisions, including expansion of veteran's education benefits, a 13 week extension of unemployment benefits, and the delay of six Medicaid regulations.
